Wiring Design Engineer
A global leader in the manufacturing of wire harnesses and subassemblies is seeking an experienced Wiring Design Engineer.
Are you an Engineer with at least 15 years of wire harness design experience? If you fully understand basic electrical system design, wire routing issues, coverings, terminal selection and wire manufacturing then we would like to speak to you about this exciting opportunity.
Position is located in Northville and requires monthly overnight travel to Chicago. This is a full time, contract to direct hire position after 6 months.

Salary range: $60,000 - $68,000
Requirements:
At least 15 years of wire harness design experience.
Complete understanding of basic electrical system design.
Knowledge of wire routing issues, covering, terminal selection and wire manufacturing.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
BSEE or BSME preferred.
Experienced in wire design for agricultural and heavy duty trucks is a plus.
CATIA V5 Designer
A global automotive engineering consultant company is seeking Catia V5 Designers. The ideal candidates will be energetic, self-starters who can hit the ground running as part of a fast-paced product development team. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are required. Being an automotive enthusiast is a plus.
Responsibilities will include providing engineering support within Body and/or Chassis systems.

Carry out Catia V5 design work.

Generate complex 3D data of parts.

Participate in meetings with both the OEM, design and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
-
10 or more years of CAD experience.

5 or more years of Catia V5/UG experience.

Bachelor in Science in Engineering preferred.

Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
